Wow.. so apparently there was a massive flood at Orchard Road this morning caused by 100mm rain which is 60% more than whats expected for the whole of June (or at least i think they meant this way)..


Poor Wendy.. it was only opened for TWO days! And to think i cleaned the stall until 1am yesterday morning just to have everything destroyed in the morning.. well.. its totally submerged now and its closed until somewhere next week.. can you imagine all the breads and machines and boxes of everything drifting around? Point to note for those opening a shop.. NEVER.. NEVER open one at the basement..


Starbucks.. which is just beside Wendy was also submerged totally.. really a horrible day and if this is really an Act of God.. all the shops down there are going to suffer huge major losses.. literally everything have to be thrown away because the dirty water got into them and it will be inappropriate to distribute them back to the public for consumption right?

On the bright side.. i feel so happy i am having my Off Day today so i am in the comfort of my bed when all this thing happened.. but on the down side.. i do not have fresh first hand photos to show you all and have to search the entire web inside out to find some non-distorted photos..

Guess im working back at LPS Wendy but for another side note.. Its opening 24hrs with effect of some day this week.. =)
