Finally it is the last day of work at Conrad.. 6 months has flew by so quickly that it only felt like 3 months since we started our first day knowing nothing about housekeeping at all.. Made alot of friends there.. especially after being a supervisor.. because that is one position where you need to communicate to alot of people to ensure that the whole operation goes smoothly.. (I only knew Yx and maybe a couple of RA during my days of room attendants because we clean rooms alone and hardly mix around except for breakfast or break time..)
Putting aside the stress and worry that we will be responsible for any mistakes that happened on the room.. this ITP had been a fantastic experience totally.. My chinese improved greatly thanks to all the mainland RA, i got to know a little about their lifestyle and how they grew up in.. and many thanks to the EF people for letting me understand what food the Golden Peony serves.. including delicious Snail.. EXOTIC! i like.. =)
Many thanks to the housekeepers there that guided me and helped me grow into a better and more responsible person.. Many thanks to the HR for selecting me AND yx together so that things do not get so lonely around there.. Back then in RA.. we used to compete to see who can finish faster.. and will then help the other one to finish up the remaining rooms and will go home quite on time.. If not for each other.. we will probably be taking our time.. and will be working until 11pm every night.. GG! Thanks to our Coordinator and Confi Assistant for being such fun people and whom will always help me find RA when that stupid room is wanted and uncovered.. More meet ups!!
Here is a glimpse of our Thank You Card.. and a delicious Haagen Dazs Ice Cream which we managed to have on our last day because our GM agreed to treat the hotel staffs if our SALT loyalty score hit 60%.. so it happened that it really happened.. and we were rewarded!! Luckily because any later.. we would not be able to have a taste of it.. Awww.. And really Thank You Yx for being my buddy this whole time.. It was fun working with you and for all you know.. we may end up in the same job next time at some hotel.. Dun always be so blur and stay cheerful! Wipe that emo facial expression away! =)
Housekeeping Department is honestly the best, the most bonded, the most fun, the most close knitted family there is in Conrad Centennial Singapore.. =) *ClapClapClap*
