Went to Marina Barrage for a FG Picnic and kite flying session today.. weather didnt look so good when we first stopped at PS to buy our food but luckily it didnt rain at all for the entire day..
Upon reaching there the sky was shadowed by hundreds of kites.. which make you wonder how they do not end up tangling with each other and doing a crash landing much to our cheers.. =) Sat around to quickly eat our little tibits while admiring the sky before we take out the Uniter Family Organisation Kite to rule the sky..
After much tries.. it did flew high up thanks to Marc's skill.. but did a horrible crash landing somewhere and was never to be found ever again.. Its alright.. we will be back to soar the skies once more another time..
We also got a kite shaped of a bat but it never did manage to fly.. guess its more for the looks than for flying in the sky.. Tried from when the day is bright until the sun goes away and darkness ruled the sky but the bat stays no higher than 3metres above the ground.. gave up in the end because everyone was soo tired from running around with it trying to get it to at least fly a little..
Stayed around to awe at the others.. magically setting their kites up in just one run and tug.. but it been a great day chilling with each other.. enjoy the defeat of the orange kite and just do nothing on the green field.. Nevertheless.. we will be back.. and we will be prepared =)
