VEGETARIAN BUFFET DINNER ON XN BIRTHDAY.....................................
Celebration for XN Birthday yesterday with a new style this year round.. instead of him having to only look at us while we enjoy all the good food such as meats and meats and meats.. this time round.. we going to get pure vegetarian food.. the entire restaurant is vegetarian.. no source of meat at all..

Though its quite a heafy cost for greens.. the smile on his face that night was worth it all.. hahaha.. well.. the smile THAT NIGHT only.. after 12am.. which is the morning.. the smile is gone and he is basically puking over everything.. =.= but that will be another blogpost so stay tuned.. =)

It was a buffet we went to so the food was taken at any random moment.. however they are arranged in a way in this blog for me to have a "storyline"..


So starters appetizers.. there is this DIY "steamboat" where there are finger foods like the above beside it so we just have to dip it in.. heat it up a little and we can dine on it already..


Then there is soupps.. this is a herbal vegetable soup which is the what gua.. the first taste was really tasteless but after 1second.. the taste start flowing into the mouth.. quite a nice soup..


There is also a mushroom soup which i have to say its really awesome.. definitely not cambell soup standard though its already quite high.. this is really wow.. =) and the pastries that came along with it are so appropriate and crispy..


Then the main course.. actually this was the first thing i took.. but whatever.. basically it look like some mixed vegetable rice so i just take a bit of everything and taste them all.. i have to comment that the lotus is really delicious.. its sorta undercooked to perfection because its hard and crunchy and have an excellent taste.. perhaps its their signature dish.. its the Lotus Restaurant afterall..


Chicken rice.. really look like chicken huhh.. i was so anticipated for the taste of vegetarian chicken.. to be disappointed with some what taupok instead.. it looked so real i cannot believe its not chicken at all.. =(


Well.. thats the size of my chicken rice.. the plate beside is somewhat a saucer for soup i believe.. so with contrast.. you can see how ENORMOUS the chicken rice is..


Then its deserts where there is this jelly.. no idea what are the black dots inside but ate them up either way.. its always good to try everything..


There are also drinks and ice cream so we actually did coke float and i never thought it tasted so nice before.. perhaps i haven had it for too long.. but coke float is Mmm mMm.. perhaps another one next time.. DIY at home..

Spoiler: He had countless mugs of beer, a submarine, a waterfall and the killer fustration.. =)
