Went to the Halloween Horrors with Qiann last saturday.. its weird how many people like to pay to scare themselves out of their wits.. only to come back the next year.. and pay to be scared once more.. Anyway.. its the first time for us so we thought it will be good to come and see the animals in the night safari.. as well as others that lurk around and behind us..
Already in the entrance area there are a few horrors lurking around.. creeping up to unknown visitors and scaring them till their hair stand at the very end.. I guess we were not into the horror atmosphere as most of the pictures we were too happily smiling..
We took the Train of Terror which allow us to see the animals as well as passing by some sudden appearing horrors to scare the people onboard.. basically i think if you just want to laugh at people being scared and not yourselves.. sit in the middle carriage because they usually appear from the back or front only.. I will say it wasnt well done because all the train were so close to each other and some of the horrors do not have enough time to go back to their original hiding places..
After the train ride we walked around to see the others animals which are missed by the train.. Some of them were really difficult to find because the enclosure was poorly litted so as to not disturb the animal and some of them blend in too well to be caught by us.. And photos are impossible to take at the night safari..
There was a horror walking trail too where horrors will be jumping onto us while we walk into their trap.. its basically another Train of Terror without the train itself.. most of them managed to scare when they do the sudden appearing act.. otherwise we mostly had a great laugh over them..
We went to see the animal show too.. which had added a bit of horror cosplay into the show to bring in the halloween spirit.. Loads of actions and much sympathy were given to the otter-like creature that was too short to place the can into the basket.. most of us felt really sorry for it but admire its persevering spirits to get it in at all cost..
Lastly we visited the Ghost Mansion which although is a long wait but its worth it.. We enter the house and walked a maze-like route and was bombarded with horrors all the time.. Kinda got freaked out by the hair they dropped from the ceiling which spooked me quite a bit..
Overall was an awesome experience.. and its worth it as you get something more than just seeing the animals themselves.. Thinking about this.. i probably will not go to the Night Safari or the Zoo unless there is some events happening there..
