It was a beautiful saturday where we woke up early to help out in some family business stuffs but it ended before noon and we went off to enjoy the rest of our off days together..
Dine in Paradise Dynasty where somehow somewhere we chance upon it on the internet and looking interesting.. so we decided to give it a go and headed down to Orchard ION.. honestly i had a bit of mixed up between Iluma and ION.. with the increasing amount of shopping centres.. its hard to remember their names dont you think?
Restaurant look really good inside and outside and by the time we arrived there was already a long queue.. as we were 2 seater.. it did not take very long before our turn is here.. but the service after the front desk is tsktsktsk.. Either way.. your first cup of tea will and should be serve by that young gentleman there with that long spout kettle whom doesnt seems to take miss as a chance..
Tried their 8 types of different flavored Xiao Long Bao's which is what attracted us here in the first place.. There were goose liver, Ginseng, Garlic, Crab and others.. but after trying everything.. you just have to place your hand down on the ORIGINAL.. i have a feeling this wouldnt last very long.. just as long as after everyone tried their new tastes before the craze is over.. But its worth a try still..
Tried their LaMian, Drunken Chicken and Scallops with Egg white too.. Its worth a first time visit.. but not really for a second..
After that filling dinner.. we went to shop around ION, CenterPoint and 313.. The christmas lightings were out already.. (or maybe for a long time already) and the Subaru Impreza Challenge is getting prepared too.. (or maybe started already) Off day was spent pretty simply.. but wisely and had enjoyed it much more than cleaning the rooms.. Cant wait to have another simple trip on our common off days.. =)
